Installation

Based on an agreed design and Scope of Work (SOW), Qdata Solutions can source, configure, test and deliver turn-key ICT solutions for cabling, workstations, applications, servers, telephony, networks, switches, routers and firewalls.

It's important to Qdata Solutions that you are comfortable with your system and its operation. We customize your system to meet your needs, and focus on a user-friendly feel. Our system design representatives will coordinate and implement the necessary information in conjunction with the project team to ensure feature capabilities and assignments are correct.

As an example, a typical Scope of Works for a PABX installation could include the following tasks:

  • Collection of Data.
  • Decommissioning and removal of existing telephone equipment.
  • Installation of PABX hardware into cabinets & setup.
  • Patching hardware to existing switches (for IP solutions).
  • Installation of handsets to cabled outlets.
  • Print & install labels for each handset.
  • Installation of DECT or WiFi Base Stations (if part of requirements).
  • Setup of Wireless handsets.
  • Program system as per data collection.
  • Setup of Voicemail & AutoAttendant.

Staff training on new phone system, printed user notes to be left with staff.

During the cutover, our representative will be on premise to assist any employees who may experience a problem. In the case of larger projects, we will also establish a temporary Help Desk and "hotline" arrangement to facilitate supporting the project in an organized manner.
